My 12-year old son has contributed this week’s submission. Being ill, I have spent a great deal of time being away from home. I have brought him with me to my appointments sometimes and he knows how long I spend waiting. He is a great young man who seems to deal with my illness with great equanimity.  His contribution is our very first haiku submission- short, but lovely. I’m a lucky mama.  Enjoy!
